Thread: Jedi must be able to since Danger (BH and BH Droids)

Jedi have a sort of Spider since do they not? Devs need to add this to the game before unleashing the BH droids on us. The Force should let us know when we are in danger early enough that we can avoid it/hide log out. Its the way it must be to maintain continuity with SW universe.


I would say as soon as a BH takes a mission looking for us that the force should let us know that we are being hunted. Perhpas all that is needed is a message on the screen.


You feel uneasy and in danger.


You since a disturbance in the force.


etc.. something....

logging out isn't the solution, but a warning so you can run/get off planet would be a good solution.

I've never flamed on a forum but please don't use the continuity as a valid argument. If we are talking about continuity, the only Jedis alive at the moment are Master Yoda, Luke, Darth Vader and The Emperor. Obi-Wan Kenobi (before his death)and Master Yoda are hiding, one in the middle of the desert and the other on that far away planet (can't remember the spelling).


You have the full right to ask for everything you want, but please don't talk about the continuity.

(and that's ok) ".. or log out"->This is why they don't allow you to know that we're looking for you.. the brave Jedis will try to hide, or prepare for the battle, while the cowards will /logout.. now do you think this should be fair?

Logout lmao I think they should give you a warning and if you try to logout after the warning your toon stays in game for 1/2 hr so you can be attacked for logging out

/bump on that.

Sensing danger early enoughto abort a fight with a creature is fair for the jedi and NOT early enough to safely logout after getting rid of the mob is fair to

the BH. A system that would warn you once the BH comes into a certain distance and that would prevent your logging for some time

would be perfect for both sides.

Needs to be designed with a little precaution to avoid exploits (I already have 2 ways to grief in mind while writing this), but if it was, it would rock.

LOL - want to talk about fair??? Try taking on ANY elite combat class with a jedi initiate, even after you've spent 4-6 weeks of hard grinding to level him - enough to master ANY class, including BH , several times over. There will be NOTHING fair about that fight. But BH's arent really interested in fairness...

of-course they aren't if it adversly affects them. They want you gimped, easily tracked and then easily slaughtered because they make fat cash and fat xp. If you make it a challenge for them they will complain. So they troll here trying to keep us weak and impossably gimped. Didn't you know that Jedi is nothing more than Bounty Hunter content? Surely I read that somewhere in my manual ... "Work your ass off so that you can be the weakest of all professions and be hunted by Bounty Hunters and Imperials."


My personal favorite is the Rebel Bounty Hunters that hunt Jedi Initiates. What's the word I'm looking for... crazy.

Yes I mispelled sence =). I only mention logout as log out is a reality that you must live with in a online game period. Logout is what the devs would like to see Jedi do in oder to keep them somewhat rare in the game world.


In my opinion a BH should bescared to accept Jedi hunting missions and not think of it as a time to make easy fat cash and exp. It should be the scariest mission to take in the game heh.


Most BH should fail and die miserably when they hunt a Jedi, especially if they hunt the Jedi alone.


The Force is a lot more than just special moves and abilities it is an awareness of your suroundings even the ability to see the future.

well as a bh and a jedi.. when u get the bio print fro yr target it always says your target is aware that u are after him... only stands to be right that when they get yr bio signature to use probe droid it tells u also....

Well lets pull from the movies on this one...

Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan didn't sense the seeker droid that found them at the races on Tattooine....

And Luke didn't know that he was standing on a trap door leading to the Rancor. (I read his lips as he dropped he said "OH S*@#!!!!".)

I think jedi should get defenses... Not omnipotence....

To maintain continuity, this takes place before balance is restored to the force.. A glimpse is all you would see.. Maybe the face of the Bounty Hunter at most... At this time the Sith could see the future and there are only two of those... Everyone else the future was cloudy place.... Not Yoda's exact words.. but close enough..


And Jedi have midichlorians (sp?) not radioactive spider blood...
