Thread: How am I supposed to survive?

Ok so today I'm grinding, or trying to given the new changes to mob specials, and a BH starts attacking me. Just my luck I get a MCM with AB sliced armor and I can't even run away because the asshats at SOE decided to turn FR into nothing more then a flashy way to get around. So what did I do? Well I was low on force as is so I pretty much died.
Oh yeah, Aura isn't working either so I didn't even have that to protect me. My sabers max dmg is 593 and against this jerk's ab armor I was hitting for something like 400 with my best attacks. This is their idea of balanced?
SOE, I wan't my damn xp back!

Every good Jedi has a nice BH alt! It's always fun playing both sides of the fense....excuse the pun.

Were you able to get in range much? I haven't played since the patch and was wondering how that aspect of the game was working out.

If the BH has any clue, then you will not get to saber range. With the rifles coming out in ToO and the ups to SL from the patch, you can go BH/MR/0400 SL (think that's the tree). You use acc food, aim and the SL buff and w/ sniper shot it's prob over before you know what's up. But w/ any of them snare has killed Jedi. I'd say it killed melee, but the melee/docs can outheal, out dmg, and out do us. So I'm sure they can live. I will do what I always do. Survive anyway I can. Use NPCs, what ever you can. And always remember, you get nothing even if you win, so run if you must.

Yeah, if only because the bh came right up next to me after he started shotting me. I had very little force and there was nothing I could so really. Granted that was my first bh ever but that doesn't mean that I shouldn't be able to do anything other then die. Is it so unreasonable to think I should be able to run away?
