Thread: A Special Note to all Jedi

It sucks when jedi gets nerfed, I agree with you all. However I have been a jedi for a really really long time, and we all knew that once they started to make jedi easier (ie village) that it would continue down the road of getting easier to satisfy the fan base.
In a game like this, you can not have an over powered class that is so easy to get. When jedi was rare, @10-20 known jedi per server you could be really powerful. But now that over 1/2 the server population has one they have to nerf them or else all other professions are pointless.
In conculusion, be happy you have a jedi, the people screamed, they dummied down swg, and now you have one. Don't expect to be unbeatable. The days of jedi being something special are long gone. Enjoy it, and know, that this is not the last nerf, more and more jedi unlock every day, meaning more and more nerfs. It has to happen, soe made that decision when they made it easier. This is not the last nerf, and their will be more.
Sucks but its true. Just enjoy your character, and if its to upsetting to enjoy, play your alt

impossible for us to be more than half the server...we all have at least 1 alt....best you can do is exactly 50%.
As for the rest...we tried to slow it down, we tried to fix it...but they didn't listen.

No thx, I want my character fixed, I dont care if 99.9% of the server's populations are Jedi, we should still be the 1.5x we were promised, not some half gimped dabbler class that gets owned by everything that normal profs can take with ease.

heh the village made unlocking jedi harder, but other then that, everything else has been getting easier

Finally Someone else who can understand Why jedi got nerfed, and WILL be even more.

Nonsense, most of us don't PvP, so how we are versus NPC's, mobs, quests, and group adventuring is no other player's business in a MMORPG. There is no reason to nerf anything beyond 3 steps back, unless you're referring to a minority activity; PvP. At best, they're nerfing should be directly and specifically applicable to only versus-Player activity.

actually...I agree with him...the majority of jedi do not engage in PvP with the exception of BH encounters...but sadly the OP is correct...the profession has been dumbed down and it probably has further to go before they stop...

I do remember ranting to the DEVS on the boards about this as well pre patch 10 or around there...... telling them that time based and other things should be a major factor -- they didnt listen to any of us , now look at us.

playing jedi can be a lot of fun, but in all honesty if they are going to kill the profession as much as they have, why not just remove it from the game? I mean it just seems like that's where they are headed anyway. I play my non jedi way more than my jedi and could really care less if they decided to do away with the whole jedi profession.
