Thread: Why is it called AVOID INCAP if all it does is KINDA AVOID INCAP -another broken jedi skill-
This is not a bug...or a PvP issue..
It is in fact lag .. the time that your account on your computer is estimating a action and what tyhe server see rarly even are the same in time wise....
Same reason if you fight a Kryat or many other mobs you can attack them often time for 10 sec or more before they every visually appear at your location....
This is the nature of the internet and tere is no way to make information travel any faster really... till computer and communtcation evolve again to a new type of something... like when they changed over from Copper wire to Fiber optic....
any way ... as a M def... always hit your second AI right as it start flashing so you get a safe overlap... maybe 5 sec at most are over lapped by server sight anyway...

If this is the case, then how come it worked flawlessly when hunting all those DJMs on Dath a few months back. And you can let it run down to the last second. It was just as laggy then, and there are plenty of other timed specials that dont suffer the same fate as AI.

It has to be broken, the timer on the screen and what it actually is has to be miles off
I was on my back and still had the icon for AI on my screen .. the jedi who killed me told me its broken and most of them have dropped mdef because of it

It is broken and NOT lag. Because you can count down the seconds in your head and it will be exactly where the timer is on the screen. The virtual world doesnt do a quantum leap.

Exactly. Just look at stasis and force supressions for instance. Many times you hit your opponent, you even see it in the combat log, me attacks enemy with stasis and hits for 300 points of dmg: but the stasis or root state just don't work. The snare from force wave seems to work fine, but root and stasis have a 20% chance of working, provided they hit of course.
Let's say I was trying to heal a group mate and I missed healing, or I healed him but no dmg was being healed. I think many people would want to fix that.
So I say fix force supression and stasis.
