Save up like 30 or so of them on one of the servers the devs actually care about (Bria/ahaziaahahshgas whatever it is) and then when the beta for that server comes up, test your tunes there, then test your tunes on the live server. Then you can disclaim the rumor that pearl stats are imprinted on generation of the pearl, and you can have double the chance to see how they actually would tune.

If that makes no sense to you, you're no the only one.

Someone has already done something similar by tuning the same pearl before and after a server rollback. The results were different.

Well let me say this I tested somthing in the game post CU is all I will say.

I had oh say exactly 60 flawless Pearls: I tuned them all and 4 of them were 120/ -9 Now then I did get some 117s and 119s but perfects were at that ratio.

Now then, I also want to say that the higher the (level) of the Pearl the one thing that I did notice is that they seem to have a better force cost outcome, i.e. Flawless tended to be - 7 or better more often.

Oddly enough CRYSTALS do not by all means tune the same as Pearls period. I did 60 of each at flawless and the Pearls always had a better return bigtime.

What does this prove? Well Pearls are better if you can get one period... over all chance of FC being better and damage... no doubt about it. The NDA prevents me from saying anything else actully I think -- but look at it like this, Good pearls are better then good crystals.

That is consistent with my study. Pearls will tune better than crystals of the same quaility.
