Greetings Fellow Jedi -

Well, Here I am...waiting for that darn visit from 'ye old man'....havent had it yet, patiently waiting and looking...its been abouta day and a half since I got the glow...Been reading up on templates, the village, quests and all. Any advice you can give someone puruing the fine art of Jedi Mastery?

I know its a long road....I guess I just dont know how long - and Im a little confused on how the village works, and unlocking tree's etc...I did read a bunch of the stickes above, guess I just need some more info / Adive on what to do to make this as smooth as possible.

Seriously if youre looking to have a jedi as an "end game" youll be dissappointed. If youre looking to be a jedi to be uber, youll be dissappointed.

In fact pretty much youll be dissappointed no matter what you want it for.

Normal profession at present are alot more fun than jedi is.

But so im not overly negative youre doing the right thign reading stickies, that about all you can do. Research speak to people and find whats fun for yourself.

Head over to here, and if you havent read up on the Force Sensitive stuff.
Best bit of advice, dont be in a hurry. Make sure you are still having fun, weather it is grinding toward jedi or grinding your jedi.

one thing only keep out of vis and play smart and you will have alot of fun with your jedi

Ahah! so you are a wanna-be medic with a flash light eh? cause thats all Jedi are now! just glorified Medics that happen to have a flash light for in the dark or is it a weirdo at a rave with one of those glow in the dark stick thingys? no matter what it is its just not worth the trouble and hardship for.

Actually IM not being all that truthful... Jedi are very uber! A level 80 Jedi with 2 years of work can infact kill a level 2 Gnort up to a level 7 Kadu in 1 hit! isnt that amazing?

If you have no life, no girl to snuggle with, no job, no pets to feed and you have lots of time to waste on Jedi just to hold a flashlight and die looking cool go for it!

The stickies on the FS forums should have all the info you need on the village part. As for Jedi advice...the above sums it up pretty nicely, only other thing to add is dont let all the negitivity on thisforum influence you.

what ^ said. dont get ina hurry. play the game, learn the game, and have fun. some people who try to grind strait to jedi usually quit before the can template thier jedi. also, know that most (not all) of the ppl posting rude and negative comments on the forums are usually not playing the game...

Thanks for the info...Well I go to theed alot (On flurry) and see alot of jedi just horsing around and having a good time, and it just looks like a lot of fun to me. I havent had much luck with the BH / Carb profession, killing NPC's all day isnt my idea of fun, and Trying to go after a jedi is like throwing a puppy in frong of a mac truck , hehe. I think id enjoy it more if people were after me, i enjoy pvp and all -

Head on over to the Force Sensitive forum. Depending on your playstyle and amount of time you play, I would think you have at minimum a few months of the FS grind so I would not concern yourself with jedi yet.

To be honest I feel the Force sensitive (FS)grind is worse than the jedi grind so if ya can handle the FS grind you should have no problem with jedi grind. You have a long ways to go but if ya stick it out a jedi can be fun to play. There is no right or wrong way to play, play the way that gives you the most enjoyment.
