I'm a MLS/MEnh/4040 Healer. I don't mind not being able to take a significant amount of dmg, and be more of a hit and run character. It's different, it's fun, I enjoy it.

But with the new snare changes, especially against BH's or any rifleman, wouldn't this effectively make me...well..useless in a fight? I mean, if I get snared now I can hit FR3 and move away - switch rolls. I can't really do any damage like that. But if I get snared under the new system I might as well just sit and wait till I die because I can't get out of range of my attacker nor can I close in to attack?

Force Armor is my only defense, and it's a weak defense at that. Would the new changes mean I'd probably have to at least take up Aura and Valor just to stay alive to fight - let alone win a fight?

Maybe it's just me, but I'm finding it harder and harder to remember why I pay to play this game.

They snare you, you snare them - or root.

For the long-range riflemen - pack a kinetic rifle for their recon armour I hate to do it as a Jedi, but I carry a 1160 max damage kinetic bowcaster for these people, as soon as the snare wears off you're FR kicks back in and you are back in range - or can escape.
