played using a cdef pistol and melee with knucklers... was way more fun.... you click on a mob and hold down the trigger and you blast away like 4 shots per second about.... the gamma sector newbie quest area has it's own custom entrance but then it uses the model of the geo cave... it's funny... it's pretty fun running around in a group of 20 level 1 noobs blasting mobs and looking for shrines to complete the mission....

ranged may be a bit better than melee.... there may be a good chance that commando or bounty hunter is more fun to play than jedi... mainly being agle to damage a mob before he got into range to damage you and also being able to pull a single mob helped me stay alive longer.....

will be interesting to see how it plays out.... at least it is definately an improvement over the combat upgrade in terms of pure combat....
