Thread: I'm gonna respec into Spy, so long jedi

Have fun, it was alot of fun playing a Jedi and now that its coming to an end, instead of lamenting and hoping, I'm gonna jump ship and head over to something new and exciting. Adeiu!

I was thinking of doing the exact same thing. Then, a friend of mine told me "I can't see Moxxus as anything but a Jedi!" And I thought, when I created Moxxus, his backstory had led up to him being a Jedi. He was destined to be a Jedi. And that day came, and that day will live on. Because, respecing to something else, IMO is worse then having Jedi handed out. Those hours of defining my toon and the memories I had built up, would have all been in vain....

You won't be a Jedi any longer though friend. You are reduced to a master swordsman/tkm with a glow stick as your new weapon. Your character was a jedi, it's going Blue for a real reason. Move on....

Also, spies have stealth so they won't be visible. Bothans have to be spies in my opinion or we betray our heritage. This only makes sense. Death to Jedi, rebirth into the Old Bothan Spy Network.

My character will always be a Jedi. Just because SOE has handed Jedi out and reduced jedi to about 1/10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 of what it was, doesn't keepmy toonfrom being a Jedi. If you want to jump ship and go Spy, thats your perogative, but he will be a Jedi. Until they delete the character I have created,molded, anddefinedhe will always be a Jedi.

In my opinion, even my character having gone to Spy will always be a Jedi, hence the blue glow. Obi-Wan continued being a Jedi, having never picked up a lightsaber again after he went glowy. You could respec into any profession now and still carry that title of Elder Jedi. But the profession they say is Jedi in the NGE just won't be the same, even close to it. So why defile yourself? To think you have to continue in this new profession to consider your character a jedi is actually backwards and misplaced.
