there is always the empty promise of the FRS, but if the do not release atleast some info about it by the time D&D online comes out, I will probibly switch over.
I am not greedy, I know coding takes time, I just want a little info. ![]()

Well with the things of life and the ending of summer that start restricting player time, the servers are running pretty empty.
The irony is I have a seen a few people on, but it was a come and go, as a few were looking for a way to get XP, but since you can't grind solo and after 30mins of trying to find a grind group or waiting for someone they knew to come on, they signed out.
I have only been on for short bursts myself, as the game is virtually dead.
Seems like people are waiting for something, waiting for fixes, waiting for things to get good again, etc.
And even when I signed in to attend to things in game, it was a constant sign-in of a couple of people I know, see if anyone was online cause they needed to grind, and sign out.
Nice on the 10% per lvl XP reduction 'IDEA' SOE BTW. So much for soloing lower end creatures for ok enough XP to be worth playing.
Here is my XP rant of the Week, some developer accidentally read this thread....
After playing a bit of EverquestII, I see where it came from, but in EQ2 it makes sense, it still doesn't make sense in SWG. Levels in SWG are so different from EQII, that having nearly the same XP reduction based on character level is really what was the thing that killed SWG with the CU.
If the creature is lvl 40, then it should be nearly 50% Xp. Period. This is NOT EQII, and the LVL system is entirely different. If I want to fight something at level 50, I would expect more than 1XP point.
This is not EQII, where you can go slaughter things just a couple of levels under you, easily. Even a lvl 50 lair of creatures in SWG is not a picnic for anyone, in EQII if the lair was 30 LVLS below you, you could slaughter the lait with one spell, so the XP reduction there makes sense. In SWG a LVL 50 lair is still a 10=20min fight if you are alone for most players. And you get 1XP per animal? Geesh. Just wiping out some of the spawns to put down harvestors has made crafter tell SOE to shove it, and when I or someone does go help clear an area, it is not an easy Task even if the lairs are in the 40s.
WHY DON'T THE DEVELOPERS GET THIS, and the DIFFERENCE?

I am thinking the same, I used to love this game, but now it's just so rediculous.

Well, vacactions from it are nice, I took one a month after the CU went live up untill Pub20 when they made it possible to stay off the terminals and grind.

Well, the fun is goone and jedi are now weak and BHhs are very good. TKMs might as well just be taken out of the game now, lol.
