Then i say to you, you will have to get rid alot more then just jedi to get this game "pure". For one, JTL will have to go..

Tie Fighters don't have shields.
There was only 1 wookiee in the movies after EpIII
Mon Calimari were the ship builders, not Ithorians
Imps and Rebs never joined forces to grind xp
the list goes on.. My suggestion to these so called "pureists" is get a life, play the game and stop complaining.. It's ALL MAKE BELIEVE ANYWAYS.

NGE sucks.

To all those saying Jedi shouldn't be in the game I say: Go play EQ2 or WOW, it's not star wars without Jedi... But as soon as most servers had100-250 Jedi the unlock system should have been changed to a new mystic and secret way. Not like the Village, everybody knew how to unlock like a week after pub 10

If you both honestly think that SOE doesn't have a "Great Jedi Purge" idea in store, please delete your accounts now. They new Jedi would be the end game and that hundreds of people would figure it out. Episode 3 was all about the Jedi Purge, and this game is now all about Episode 3.

Jedi Purge = Permadeath system? No.

Jedi Purge = Skill Loss? Yes.

Its more like episode 7-9 with Lukes Jedi Accademy... all the weak Jedi popping out daily.
Skill loss wouldn't really kill off Jedi, who would quite just becouse they lost a skill box or three
