imagine "light" jedi serving the empire (but not the emperor 
) because they feel that the empire is the only hope for stability and long term peace the universe has.
imagine "dark" jedi serving the cause of the rebellion because they feel that a long and bloody rebellion will destabilise social structures in the universe to a degree where they can jump in and claim ALL power.
imagine jedi of either affiliation being neither rebel nor imperial serving the force!
wouldnt that be just awesome? wouldnt that actually restore some of the lost respect and love for the jedi in this game?

Rebel
Force?
What about Smugler or Hut faction?
The Jedi should be able to choose one of the three established factions. As for the FRS, that is what the Jedi are longing for indeed. Not another faction.

yep i probably didn't word my post very good. the point was faction should not matter for jedi. one should not have to chose between factions to follow, but between the light/dark side of the force. this by itself would be some sort of FRS imho. imagine a "dark" jedi going "overt" and only being attackable by "overt" "light" jedi.
that would remove us from the GCW, which seems to be wanted. we could still chose to join any faction we wanted (and since this is all hypothetical even the hutt or smuggler factions) but wouldn't have to to participate in any form of PvP (other than being hunted of course).
this is an idea i have had in my head since i saw a jedi running around on ahazi for the very first time. im just kind of curious if anybody else would like to see a system like this in place.
