I am likely going to try out the following template:

M. Powers

CM 3400

Enhancer 3004

Any thoughts?

I think you have no defense to live long enough to do much.

Not enough DPS to finish off a good defender dabbler.

Just plain isn't.

Your powers won't do all that much to them, and adding enhancer/cm doesnt do anything for your damage, in the long run. My expectation in this template would be to see the two of you fight even for maybe 10 minutes, then the other jedi beats you when you run out of mind.

keep in mind that the only reason CM can hang with jedi is AB sliced armor. You would be wearing no armor and have no defenses.

If you want to take onother jedi with powers as your main offense, you're going to lose to practically any template (unless they too are powers and then it's a tossup). Powers jsut don't do enough damage vs defender dabblers or anyone who realizes you are a powers user beause theyll turn on feedback, shield, and absorb.

The way to win vs another Jedi using pwoers is to also have at elast x4xx in sabre and just go for an overwhelming of them. Use your states at range to lower their damage, poor on choke, ab kd power attack, lightning, and keep it up. If they can live past a minute youre usually going to be toast unless their sabre is orrible.

I would like to point out that the main "defenses" for this template are:

1. Force Run

2. Force Wave

3. Force Suppression

4. Cloak

This plays a bit different than a CM as you are able to run much fasterhence kiting becomes more viable. Assume that you'd be wearing a suit of +25/+25 general ranged/pistol accuracy & speed. If they make force powers only usable with a LS equipped, well it is no problem to switch between gun and LS to apply your force DOT/snare/root or to cloak.

This is something I think I will have to play to truly appreciate the strengths vs weaknesses, as it looks good on paper to me.

My jedi's template is this:

Master Lightsaber

Master Powers

2000 Enhancer

3000 Healer

Standard glass cannon, and his defenses are basically the same as yours. Root, cloak, force run. Incredibly fragile, and your extra healing over mine is not enough to make up for this. It's not the power of the heals, but the simple fact that so much damage can be piled on me in a short time that I couldn't possibly outheal it anyways. The only way this template is viable, therefore, is because it has absolutely amazing offense. I have a fairly decent pre-CU saber, combine that with choke and other powers abilities that can damage in tandem with my saber skills, and the way I win fights is by finishing them before the other guy has a chance to kill me.

The way I see your template is similar to mine, but instead of jedi healing, you've opted for CM, which, while better healing, is not enough to make up for your lack of offense, the real key to a template like this where defense is minimal.

Sorry, but i feel you're lacking a combat class there.

People don't really seem to get this, but powers is like a dark version of enhancer. That's why it remains underpowered compared to LS. It's great when used to support a good ol' glowstick, but try just using powers to do damage...especially with the new nerfs on the way reguarding hybrids. I was a mrifles, defender, healer and enhancer combo and it was GREAT fun to play, i could kite anything. But my understanding of the coming nerfs indicate that NO force enhancements will be able to be used with that adv. laser rifle of yours equipped Including force run, your viable kiting option. Wave goodbye to wave too, and supression...

I don't really feel that hybrids are an option anymore, hence my switch to MLS. it was painful to drop rifles, but it had to be done

Was going to ask the same thing. I haven't seen anything but rumors from a hacked .tre file.
