You can choose between a dark robe and a light robe. They do the same thing though.

thats not what im asking for, i like the dark robe, but im rebel, and im not going to go IMP just to get a dark robe.

faction does not matter when picking your elder robe

rebels can pick Opressor and Arbiter robe

imperials can pick opressor and arbiter robe

Yeah they kinda screwed things up. The dark robe is better looking than the light, but then they turn around and offer 2 light-side LS crystals as choices.

Iwill probably go with the traditional(ish) looking arbiter robe

someone told me the robes will do nothing now, as far as granting defense? i believe they are just assuming this because they are idiots, anyone know the lowdown?
