I'm a pre9, so my main toon is not my Jedi (Jedi is second char slot)... Currently, if I wanted to re-roll my main, my Jedi would poof.
Is this still true in the NGE, or are these two character slots now disconnected? i.e. can I reroll my main without destroying my Jedi?

No, what I really want is a species change, which I can't do via an ADK. I need to reroll.

As soon as patch 10 went in, your main became your "alt" as the second character slot became tied to your Jedi's Padawan box. I've rerolled my former main, and could continue to do so until NGE goes live if I wanted to. Post NGE, no more rerolling as no more character slots.

Really? You have rerolled your main (deleted and recreated entirely) and your Jedi was still in tact?

Yep. In fact, pre-9, all that deleting your main did was disable your chance to reroll the Jedi... It didn't magically poof the character, you just lost the "unlock" status for creating a new one.

okay im confused so those of us who have 2 chars on one account pre pub9 , do we lose our current jedi? or do we still get 2 chars on one account on same server? This is important since I would want all my jedi stuff deleted with my char I have 9 buff crystals and some nice sabers

Forget what the character system was like pre-patch 9... Patch 10, it got converted to the new way: You have the Padawan box, then you can create a new character on the same server. It's really that simple.

Your Jedi isn't removed, unless you chose for some reason to delete that toon. You can respec them both, BUT it sounds like if you attempt to reroll one of them, you may not be able to create another character... at least that's what I am reading into this? Bac is there any way you could confirm what the intended behavior is here?
We have 2 slots.
Post NGE, if one slot (say the "main") is deleted, A) is there any danger with the Jedi account poofing (sounds like no), or B) can we still create a second character on that server?
