Thread: Best Defensive Template?

I was just wondering what template would be best for a completeydefensive Jedi?One that never attacks first. Any thoughts?
Sorry I should have made it a bit clearer, I just want a template so that I can roleplay a jedi, so my abilities are used for defense and never for attacking (first) and be closer to what a jedi should be- a peacekeeper of the galaxy. I don't really care if I get beat everytime in PvP, aslong as it took a very long time to take me down and therefore people might get a little sick of fighting me! lol

hehe try going master defender for uber defence and then pair it up with Enhancer for force run/amour/resist and force feedback etc etc and power x4xx for force cloak and if u can heal... this template got litualy no offensive capablities but u only asked for defensive ....
another temp for serious defence would be
Master defender, Master lightsaber heal 4xx4.. sometimes a good defence is a good offense

Enhanced Reflexes Master
Combat Prowess 0044
Master Force Defender
Master Force Enhancer
Force Wielder 0404
Now that's a Full Template Defender.

why on earth would you do any of those templates mentioned....you do not need so much defense to win in pvp...remember that in order to finish a fight you have to be able to kill the opponent...so getting 2 branches of ls/mdef/4000 healer/2 branches of enh is a great temp

Agreed - that's the way to get a good defensive template. But if speed mods get fixed then MLS will give you problems - unless you can getr a suit with +25 GMS and +25 LS speed, add to that FS from Enhancer and I don't think the difference will be great at all.

Edited my first post a bit, I should've made it a bit clearer, thanks for all the responses so far. It's nice to hear from people that play jedi and all posts are taken on board.

My reply above remains the same. Jedi as doplomat first, warrior at need.

try Mdef/Mhealer/sabers 0404. this would be a total Defence template. also tie's into the styleing of a jedi who would rather heal their friends then attack their enermy's.

ok you are all makin dabler temps for him i am MLS MDEF 4xx4 healer an i have no problems in PvE or PvP but thats cause i can ht for 1300+ in pvp

Don't think I could live with the downtime. You must run low on Force in protracted fights, PvP or PvE...?
