armor drains alot and gets broken by any swords or jedi with armor break ... aura is reliable just have to keep up with it before it runs out thats all but yeah aura before armor ... for pvp
for pve armor is nicer but remember it will drain you quickly, especially if you attack alot of things at the same time...

Aura and Armor are not the same.... Aura is +250/+500 defense... which basicly means that you have a higher chance of avoiding any attack, and it also means that IF an attack does hit you, it hits you for MINIMUM damage instead of MAXIMUM damage. Armor on the other hand is well, Armor. Improved armor is equivilent to 4000 resist armor across the board i believe, and I'm pretty sure it stacks with innate jedi armor, but the hits it absorbs takes force away from your force bar... so your innate paddy armor is 2000 resists, coupled with improved armor you would have the equivilent to 6000 resist armor (correct me if im wrong but i believe that is correct), both work pretty well as far as i can tell, and coupled they are great... so i'd say pick whatever is convinient to your skill points, like if you arent going ANY enhancer and are going defender get aura, if you arent going defender at all get armor...

I would say aura since it dosen't drain your force
It does take a considerable hit to your force each time you activate it however. And having it looped every 45 seconds that'll drain some force.

I think they should cut the forcearmor drain cost in half.I mean, how fun is it to get a 25-30force drain per hit in pvp?
