Makes no sense to me not to have great blocking ability at MLS. We get block +bonuses within the 0004LS trees but don't get aspecial block (valor) at MLS or at 0004LS. Is this enough? Skills overlap.
The devs drop the ball with a lot of things in jedi design, but this is something I can appreciate. The idea is, you can get a skill "here" or "there", or combine the two and have something even better. So MLS has 25 saber block. The valor skill gives you 25 in the xxx4 line of defender. Which means you have two options for getting at least 25 saber block allowing variety in template to get what you want.
Speed is another example, you can get your saber speed up to par by either mastering lightsaber, or getting force speed from the 4xxx enhancer line.
Same swap can be made between the innate armor in defender and force armor in enhancer.
no no. Valor should stay iwth defender. But maybe at the MLS level, make a new skill called BLASTER BLOCK or something like that, where if you activate it you go in complete defensive mode, and can not attack. but you block 75-85% of all incoming attacks. You can't make the skill block to many incoming attacks, because it would make MDef MLS temps unbeatable and un touchable to BHs. But if SOE impliments a skill ike this "blaster block"...sure your defense goes up and you block 75-80% of the incoming attacks.....but you aren't attacking. so its balanced. It will act as a "get-away" maneouver.
A jedi focusing on defenense with his LS should be easily able to ward off incoming blaster attacks
actually saber BLOCK shoudl all be in the saber tech tree.
Valor should be saber REFLECT on a % of the saber BLOCKS.
