This is an important question unanswered until now. Is it safe to drop the skills the holocron tells you to learn once you've learned them once? I think we can answer this question by answering another:

Did your holocron tell you to learn a profession you've already learned once, but dropped now? Yes or no?

Yes you can drop it, you need to master more than 1, and wouldn't have enough skill points to do them all without unlearning old skills
