Thread: Getting the 24 FS Skill Points Back

A few people in the game have been telling me that SOE is thinking about making the FS Skill trees and boxes costing 0 skill points. And they were thinking of giving Jedi back their 24 SPs.
Is this true? Will we bet getting our 24 SPs back? I'm guessing this is utterly false, but i wanted to check and see if anyone else has heard about this?
I heard this rumor a few weeks ago, so i guess this isn't true at all. But i thought i'd ask.

It's an interesting thought since they pretty much serve no purpose in the game anway. However, as with most things I suspect that this is all rumour

In the past, I've seen some surprising things and some things that didn't surprise me. Ill be honest with ya. If they give us back the 24 points, we'd be unbalanced again. I know that Ill be able to master another discipline and get at least 1 more box to add to my template. That would be uber.
I would def. go for the 24 back! And I think that it is def. possible that they could be considering this. So we'll see! :\

lol I just worked this out, if you had the 24 skill points back you could be...
Master Sabers // Master Defender // Healer 4000 // Enhancer 3003
lol reason why I say Master Defender is because of that sick a$$ weapon that's out there.

I'm not so sure mate... balance is so very situational with all the different skills for the combat professions. Right now on TC2 it is my experience that if a BH gets within melee range of a Jedi, he's in big trouble. If the BH can catch the Jedi out in the open where range counts, then allbets are off. That's just a small
example.
While an extra 24 SP sounds cool - just think what you could build with it.... Off the top of my head (I'm at "work" atm... *coughs*) you could build a MLS MP Jedi with grood healing and defence - ouchy... While I'd looooove that as an idea, you'd swat BH's like flies and we'd be back to the 5 Vs 1 requirement.

yeah you might be able to kill BHS easier with MLS MPowers and some healer and defense...but how would u do against other jedi?? I think it would be interesting to get these SPs back.
And i can honestly say that i myself would NOT double mastery, even WITH these extra SPs.

Exactly, this looks like a much more balanced template than the ones we can currently put together, it certainly puts us in the realm of being back in line with normal profs that can master double elites and still do boxes in some other profs as well. As far as being overpowered, puh-lease.

And this would most likely push even more non-Jedi to quit, or to go Jedi. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy being a Jedi.
