I cant decide which is best ..i know that aura gives +500 to defence but doesnt last too long (i know it can be macroed but i prefer not to use em)and i know FA lost a good half hour or so ,cant remember what stats it gives ., but whats best overall ? i have no idea of fc to activate either or what fc is per attack etc...

Anyone enlighten me?

regards

Force armor sucks your force down with each hit, so in effect when So-and-So hits you each successful shot will reduce your force. It is very effective but if you are planning on having higher defenses then go with Aura.

Can always have both. one of the most FOTM template consists of 3402 ehancher , and xx4x defender or a variation of that notion.

Force armor is a large force drain thing... I'd prefer getting defense from the defender line (passive innate armor) instead of using an active force armor that drains your force too fast...

but that's just me

Depends what you plan on using it for....If its for PVP, then force armor...you will probably be dead or live by the time you run out of force, so doesnt make much difference that way...if you are doing more PVE, then I'd suggest the aura as it will assist for a longer period of time without the force drain

Pretty good answer. I have both. I use both for PvP but usually only aura for pve unless doing necrosis.

The force drain of FA isnt usually enough to run out of force before I am either dead or have won in pvp.

I might be wrong about this (but I wouldn't be surprised if I was right) but I think Force Armor (imp and regular) sucks Force before the damage it mitigated by Aura. So, don't necessarily expect Aura to lower the amount of Force that gets drained when you get hit.

Both together they are a very nice combination though.

No, you lose more force if you leave aura off.

the way aura helps especially is in the fact that it makes you get hit ALOT less that in itself can easily half your force useage from IFA if not more.
