At least we have the memories of what SWG used to be, one of, if not the best MMOs of our time...

which is why (i see the frag guy is trouble btw) i ask myself, why are they comming out with a new xpansion when bugs of years ago are still in the game?

why not hoth for that matter?

It is about Money. SOE is forcing the DEVs to spend their time on expansions and more "money making" things than fixing bugs.

Simple economics. There is not money to be made in fixing bugs.

they are riding on a thin line here. there are very few vets left in this game as a whole because of the cu. however, someone from sony needs to make a statement about jedi and where its going. Even a jedi mission statement. Keeping them in the dark is causing alot of anger about it. I do love the bh jedi hate, but this whole dont tell jedi this and that secret stuff is hurting more than helping. And i admit, u got jedi vs jedi partially because the devs secrecy.

I am talking about nerfs, expansions/content aside. LA is forcing the expansions via marketing. But with all the time over the years thrown into nerfs, it could have better been spent bug fixing.

ah yes economy and making money.

well, if soe was so inclined, they would say okay, we got all these newbies here and oh, they want to be jedi. We can see its easy to spin group their way to jedi but we have no content in the end...well loose customers once the star wars thing wears off and newer players wont play. Make getting jedi more difficult. xp exchange more extreme at the village, from 3 weeks to four (which even 3 weeks forces people to actually explore the other parts of the game), making it longer,not shorter. shorter jedi means shorter to the end game. which means less money in thsoe few months of play.

Also, somehow make the gcw more engaging. It will also slow the newbies to go straight to jedi because theyll be enjoying the game so much, see how long it takes and will be like, bah, ill do that later, too long and i can get some cool rewards (whatever they may be ) now!

This will further lengthen the time they play.

Frs if its good will keep the old schoolers and vets. give vets cool rewards. adn if the frs is really good, well stay longer.

at this point, theres no reason after they come out with this expansion to make any more expansions for at LEAST 8 months. they need to fix these bugs, work on the frs.
