Thread: my 1.5 hour fight with a bh/cm

Of course i was looking for a fight to start with. Im in a total pvp guild and i love a good fight once in a while. well today no one was on fro the guild war so i was trying to get a bh to come for me. And after about 2 hours of playing one finally came. Of course he called me a noob and said i was weak. But the funny thing is he couldnt kill me. And since they canjust keep healing faster than a jedi i decided hell ill make him waste his money. Make him have to go back and buy all brand new stims. WHich i did. I set auto attack on saber hit and had my aura macro going. Bad thing is i was winning against the bh with saber hit. To bad sabers dont do more damage or he would have been dead many times from me using saber hit. I never ran out of force since he couldnt do much damage to my 800+ ranged defense and my 850+ melee def. So i was just following him around in bestine star port. But he kept telling me to run away? I was like why your not hurting me a bit im full force still and im playing around with this. I even got up went and ate thinking maybe ill be dead when i got back. Got some food and came back 10 mins later and i was still at full health. My guildies where just cracking up at the bh. He totally ran out of stims and had to use bacta shot but theirs no cool down timer for them either so i just kept sitting their hitting him back. And about an 1.5 hours into the fight he started running away. Not new he was running away every time i started killing his mind to recharge. But then he jumped on a shuttle and i never saw him again. So I was wondering is it a good thing if you can outlast a bh? or should i be able to kill them with no problem since im full temp. My temp is master defender, ls 0404, healer 3000, enhancer 3002, powers 0002. Well what you think?

i think u had a newb BH..lol try that with some of the CM/BH's here on scylla.. say good night.

well so far ive done it with 3 different bh's and they all gave up. All pre-cu bh also. I even scared some of the best bh on the game off when they came for me and saw i wasnt dying. so they just dropped my mission and went for an easier target.

fights last too long between jedi and bh now. I'd fall asleep at my keyboard and lose 450k.

had one last just as long...this game isnt supposed to have 90 minute plus fights if one is supposed to be 1.5 times stronger. this game is so borked its not funny. the fight i had we both just quit we were so bored. it was so long i had time to write 3 macros. something needs to be done soonbefore the rest of the jedi leave the game and soe will loose what is left of the solid player base. and i will guarentee that they will never buy another soe ran game ever. the healer line means everything in this game now. and the abuse of the droid heals doesnt help. everyone is screaming about the doc cm hybrids and the unfair advantage they have over the rest of the player base. and now that a chef found out that defense means what you happen to be fighting with is the type of defense you have. so our sabers only give us melee defense, not ranged. that needs to be fixed immediatly.

well for starters it sounds like a good fight on both sides if it lasted that long. I dont know of the BH that you were fighting but you at least lived and had fun in the fight.
I am a MBH and no im not going to say that I could take you anyday...but i /tiphat to you for actually fighting through it. A great deal of angst against BH - Jedi is that some of you run and hide in houses. Now I am not going to apologize for the noobish comments that the BH made toward you, because there are BH and Jedi that say those things and worse.
So good job on surviving the fight. But i have a question would you have given props to the BH if he/she did infact defeat you?

ya the fights do get old but my guild was just cracking up at the bh. so it was all good. they kept me awake. I dont thin a bh should be able to have cm and bh personally. it makes them over powered. sure they can use stims but fix ruby bliel so that they cant use stims every 5 seconds. But i hear that soe contract is comming up soon so where all hoping la will take over. lets keep our figures crossed.

any time a bh fights me i tell them good job and excellent fighting. Im against hate tells to a bh for killing his mark. As long as the fight is clean (no exploits, no help from friends " a one on one fight"). I only get mad when they use exploits or come for a jedi whos grinding and they know he has no force. That i find unsportsman like. But if im in town and we have a good clean fight. Ill tell him great job and see him again soon.

Hooah! But in the defence ofa BH getting a jedi when they are at thier weakest is part of the job. Granted it is uncooth but still a viable tactic.

thats just a personal thing. I just like clean fair fights. If a jedi runs out of force in the fight well thats the jedis problem and a bh can take advantage of that all he wants. The jedi should have learned the weak point of the bh and use it. or learned how to outlast the bh. Since eventually the bh will use up all his mind and action thats when the jedi needs to strike back. But i always congadulate the bh when they kill me.

Just curious why you mention having ranged defense while wielding a melee weapon...

yur kidding right?
check this out. my alt is a 12pt WS. i crafted a high capacity scatter pistol with a base dps of 350. it's not the best, but it's not bad. now think about that with a 12% slice and a really good p-up.. with mbh/pistoleer you're looking at close toa gun with mod1k dps.
my poor jedi is 0444 in LS... i have REALLY good resources and good tunes in my saber, but my base dps is 244... my mod is 366..
my mod dps is only 16 points higher than the base of the gun i crafted earlier.
i'd say that unbalanced is an understatement.
