Thread: New skill not appearing in browser
Hehe, I love new Jedi. This is why we need a Master / Padi system... Although I'm not sayong you're a noob, I had the same question. We just need a teaching system.
Your regular Force Lightning is now Improved Force Lightning. Relog if you can't see a name change in your skill list.

yup improved lightening replaces the basic, same as improved area replaces area.
you dont get two skills on two root bars.

The higher-level skill automatically replaces the lower-level one. If you push your Force Lightning button now (or use your /forceLightning command) you will automatically use your Improved Force Lighting - no new buttons needed. You are not able to use basic Force Lightning anymore, however - no biggie with Force Lightning, but with basic Force Knockdown / Imp. Force Knockdown / Adv. Force Knockdown or basic Force Run / Imp. Force Run / Adv. Force Run not having access to the basic skill is a problem (because with those skills, the "better" versions also have drawbacks compared to the basic versions).

Ok, first off I'm no noob, I unlocked at the begining of Nov 04, I quit for a few months when the CU hit and this is the first new skill I've got post CU.
What I'm trying to say is that the basic force lighting command is appearing in the browser and hasn't been replaced with the impoved force lightining, have used lighting many times after getting the new skill, I've jogged out and even done a full scan but with no luck.
I did put in a csr ticket but they told me to /bug it, which I did even though I suspect telling a player to /bug it is code for f*ck off.

Ok, to clear the air, I went out of my way to say I was NOT calling you a noob. I had the same problem when I drop MLS and went Powers. If you would have given that info in the beginning I would have had a different response.
That said, /bug it, post it on the CSR forum & send Bac a PM.

this has nothing to do with new jedi's...exact same thing happens when u train a new improved version of non jedi skills
and yes im a newb jedi so felt insulted that u thought all new jedi r newbs
You are a noob...you just said so yourself...you can't be insulted when it's true in your case.
