TH's message said that all current pearls will not be changed....and anyone who knows whaat interim means knows that it means "Between now and then" and the case of then in this context was the reintroducement of Premium pearls.

They are not nerfing your pearls at the same time they reintroduce them!

Please stop the "nerf" threads when no such statement exists at this time.

Developers are always looking at more waays to balance a game....they have those same subliminal thoughts about everything in this game...it just so happens everyone talks about Jedi so they normally give more Jedi answers to the Jedi questions.


I'm sure the way sabers aare crafted will change....and maybe pearls will change down the road, but IMO that was to be expected.

And how could pearls be in jepeordy from that 1 statement? It basically says:

"hey guys, we are going to reintroduce premium pearls eventually, but we have no intention of taking people's current pearls away in that time period"

The only difference between my version of it right here, and his in the chat is he posts it in a formal, more proffessional writing style, as he should...he's a developer, a proffessional.

It's from taking the Devs past history with Nerfing Jedi to banality and applying it into reading between the lines. The statement read w/o spin doesn't say a thing abou tlosing pearls. But it could be inferred. Couple this with the fact that a majority of Jedi now cannot achieve anything but a mediocre saber it is not hard to think there is something afoot.

I think you're getting a bit paranoid....


some Jedi only have mediocore sabers because the devs know the power of a perfect one as I do...and they want to make getting a perfect one difficult and challenging, something it couldn't be in this normal system.

I don't blaame then for wanting to put it in right.

secondly, TH's statement can only be "inferred" to be a negative statement to those who think negatively.

But, I guess everyone can hold on their grips to the thought of being nerfed, only for it to happen 3 months or more down the road on a subject completely different from what people think now....but it won't matter...because the Jedi forum would rather hold on to the thought of being nerfed RATHER than think of making this game more enjoyable.
