Good post. Constructive and very true. (I think you made a mistake and I have corrected above but not sure cause you were talking about dropping FA further down in the post.)

Do: Have Force Valor and good foods to mitigate damage
Don't: Use Force Shield, Force Absorb, or other unnecessary macros going. They will just drain your force faster. Corrected? Or were you meaning to say Armor?

CorrectedThanks for catching that! Just a thought though, let FA go when the BH is doing drain tactics.
only prob with that is..
BH sees FA go down... so decides its time to attack properly?
FA2 is only 8% force cost - so if your being "ranged hit" and mitigating say100 damage that is only 8 force per shot taken - it costs 150- force to activate it in the first place - so only really worth dropping IF you know your not gonna take serious damage for the next 20 or so hits (like pve grinding etc where i usually run FA2 OFF)

I have just noticed that FA jedi seem to burn through force at an alarming rate. A MBH/MP can fire very quickly. Also, does FA try and mitigate DOT's like Bleed???
nope only the initial hit does nothing for a DOT (just like reg armour does) - however vs a single target FA2 is pretty efficient - if you try to PvE tank with it you eat your force though... combined with aura it works exceptionaly well as aura reduces the damage first before it goes to the armour so your force cost is lower. Also it is much more efficient to have FA2 up than to have to use force heal - generally in any situatuion where youll need force heal (rather than just infusion)- throw up the armour.
the ONLY exception to this is when you think you muight get AB - if you get hit by an AB then its time to drop it as its giving you very little protection

Wonderful simple post...nicely done.
I would add the obvious statement that the BH wins if they kill you. If they do not...because you killed them, broke agro and ran into a house, or otherwise escaped, YOU WIN.
Not true. While some Bounty Hunters will drop the mission, the Jedi is forced into hiding once again or forced to log. Our mission is two fold:
- Stop the spread of the jedi way through xp loss
- Stop the spread of the jedi way through denial of xp grinding (because you chose to run instead of die :smileytongue

Any time that we take a jedi and force him to discontinue what he is doing...and not die...is a win for the Bounty Hunter. He may not fullfil his contract at that point in time, but he has three more days. Here again, some Bounty Hunters will drop the mission. A lot of them, like me, will most likely keep it and await your re entrance back into the galaxy.
A good guide for jedi against most Bounty Hunters. The careful and patient Bounty Hunter almost always gets their mark.

I would watch the icon next to your name...when it stops blinking red, try and drop your house (or unpack). Basically, since I have never had to run from a BH, I am not entirely sure.
