Sorry to start yet another thread questioning the CU2, but I've read all the way through about 13 different threads finding this same question but no answers.

This is not a flame

This is not a complaint

This is not a w00t - go cu2!

To get the rewards(the ability to take on the transparent Blue form of an ascended Jedi, a special Robe that is endowed with protective properties, and an exclusive new lightsaber with a unique color that deals more damage)

Does your Jedi need to be clvl 80?

- If so, will spending skill points in non-Jedi professions to achieve level 80 count?

Does you need a full temp Jedi with all available skill points spent in Jedi professions?

Do you simply need to have Jedi Padawan unlocked, regardless of where skill points are located?

Collected Contrasting Information:

What's happening to my Jedi character?

Jedi will be able to choose any of the nine iconic new professions, including the Jedi profession. Regardless of a veteran Jedi's (existing active Jedi characters prior to the introduction of the game enhancements) re-spec choice the character will gain items and abilities that will represent the original accomplishments achieved by that character. These include specifically, the ability to take on the transparent Blue form of an ascended Jedi, a special Robe that is endowed with protective properties, and an exclusive new lightsaber with a unique color that deals more damage. All of these new items are being given to existing Jedi characters in recognition for their past achievements.

*above quit found at: STAR WARS GALAXIES NEW GAME ENHANCEMENTS

Also, aparently unlocked jedi will recieve special gifts and talents(blue glowie ability as an example) that new jedi will not see.

*found at: Re: New and Exciting Changes Coming to Test Center

For those Jedi whining about being able to start as Force Sensitive, all of the cl80 Jedi at the time will be setup as Elder Jedi, with Special robes (Dark or Light, FRS robes), Blue Glowie ability, an Elder title, and a special crystal that gives you a slight edge over the newly starting Jedi.

Not flaming you but I am just wondering if the only thing the vets care about anymore are rewards?

i wish i have the answers... in fact. i like to know more too. i can careless about the rewards if they acutally trade us down for it (which its prob the case). it does not make me feel any better to give up $10 in return to be handed back $3, along with a spearment candy as reward...
