Thread: Theory: Pearl Drops temporarily nerfed because of delayed FRS

Yes i know its a shame we dont have an FRS, and that premium and flawless pearls do not drop at the moment, but anyway i dont want to beat the pinata too much.
As i understand it, Premium's and flawless pearls and crystals will drop again but it is bugged. What if the Dev team actually intended this because of the delayed FRS? Think about it, they need time to make the FRS, in that time they know they screwed up and now have too many jedi coming through, and completing templates. What they might be doing is trying to give older Jedi a chance to cut ahead in the FRS by making new Jedi being able to not get as good pearls and therefore not as good in fights, and not as good in the FRS, therefore keeping the old jedi happy, as the new jedi try to get good pearls before they can beat older jedi in the FRS. Jedi can still get good pearls and crystals so they can get a good enough sabre to fight well pve and general pvp
My bet is that the better pearls will come back with the FRS
If this is what is going on, the flaw is that some older jedi like myself who unlocked before pub 10 especially, or the Combat downgrade suffer ebcause they did not get all very good pearls.
What do you think?
the devs give a sh*t on it
Im pretty sure if they fix the pearls same time it will be a different download. You will just have to pay for the new planet and what is included on it not the changes they make to the game. They could add FRS , fix pearl drop problems, and also fix the speed problem and release at the same time as the expansion to make it seem more worth while but i am sure they will not included these fixes in the expansion those would be downloaded regardless if you buy it or not. Foolishness thinking otherwise, it would mess up the game bad if some people had fixes and other didn't. Think! let the people do their job they are paid money to do what they know best.
Zoei Onar
The drops weren't nerfed, they are screwed up because of bad programming, bad planning, bad implementation, and bad testing. It's a side effect of the implementation of the class system in the CU. Just another Jedi related item that was never tested BECAUSE JEDI WERE NOT ALLOWED TO TEST THE OPEN BETA!!!

Tiggs has mentioned that they (premiums, flawless)will only drop from very high CL mobs or from quests
So I am quite sure we are all gonna have to do quests for Obi-Wan on Mustafar and/or kill some mob there over and over ![]()

All these theories of Intentionality and the devs depend on one false premise. That is that the developers are capable of achieve their design and implementation goals successfully.

When, in the history of this game, have they ever done the above?
Scenario One:
The Developers intentionally plan, design and implement a system to turn off loot drop and it works.
Scenario Two:
The CU level system was installed, the MOB drop tables were subsequently bugged and the developers may know how to fix it. However the have not done so yet for various reasons, one of which is another excuse for some new re-vamp.
Which one is more plausable?
