I have read about it happening. and to answer your question.. yes it has happened before. Prior to patch 9 you could not mix force skills and non-force skills at all.
So if it means that we can roll back jedi skills to pre-pub 9 then count me in!!!
yes you could. you just could not wear armor.
the rumor is that now WEAPONS will have the same effect as armor in denying the jedi of using its force abilities.
which is utter and total BS imo.
no you are wrong from someone who opened pre-pub 9. you could indeed wear armor and you could pick up any weapon you want but this was before cl and you had no attack without the basic skill trained. you could not train anything other than jedi skills when you were "born" a jedi. and if you are pre 9. you are born that way. created as a jedi with the option to have jedi skills only!.
and it has been posted by TH that you will have to have a saber equiped to perform any jedi action. So your rumor is half true. no it doesnt say you cant be a hybrid but if you pick up a rifle you can not use.. aura, infusion, force armor etc. or any of the force powers like force lightning choke etc. (which is what prompted this. people where master powers and using a rifle with 1200 damage for a base attack while using powers).
so while it doesnt say you cant use a weapon what it does say is that you can not use jedi skills if you DO NOT have a saber equiped.
