Take comfort in the fact IT IS POSSIBLE. Took me 16 tries 
but I finally did it! Just set up agood attack macro using every attack BUT Force Lighting. NO ZIP BARS OR ROOTS!Keep moving and keep that macro going. Vartonis attacks so quickly he'll be interuppting half if not more of your zip bars if you use lightning. Also, throw in a couple Force Drains. Can't hurt.

Can't hurt.Also, if you're Enhancer X4XX DO NOT USE Force Armor or you'll be saying goodbye to your Force Bar rather quickly. Also, don't bother with Stasis. It never once worked for me.
Just use Synthsteak, Force Feedback (works VERY nicely on him) and Force Shield. Of course, Aura if you have it. Just watch your buffs as he likes to Breach.
Also, forget Force Infusion. Waste of Force.
One more thing: before 1st fight with Vartonis and you're on the last of his thugs, Cloak and get your Force Bar and Health back up. Do the same before 2nd fight but don't take too long or your super-buff from the crystal will disappear mid-fight. You won't be able to get your Force bar and Health bar up to full before second fight (unless you use a holocron to fill up force bar) but it'll make a difference.

Or just use the lair crystal and get 90k health+ ninja buffs and hit him for 4k 10 times until he dies.

Duh. Hello, I mentioned using the Force Crystal PLUS hitting him for 4K isn't possible. Most I ever did with Lightning was just over 2K AND he stopped most of those attacks even though I either had an Adrenaline Buff or Force Speed up.

I was hitting him for 3-4k'ish after using the crystal,I should have taken some screenshots... but anyway when he turns yellow just use the crystal and kill him. You are sounding like it's hard, 16 tries ?

I can honestly say that it was not very easy. I really doubt anyone just breezed right through this. I just love the Jedi forums these days someone places a thread that might help other players and there is always someone there to flame or insult.
We had one of our Doc's come out a buff, it really helped out. Actually made all the difference in the world. My toon is a MLS and Vartonis always hit me with force breach first off. So save your force buffs get a Doc buff and a good attack macro. You should have no trouble.

I make a post, a constructive post, to help Powers players (Not MLS/MDef players) and you flame and make stupid remarks.

I am Master Powers I finished it like yesterday in the first try and it was cake. Also another player went there after me and came out saying "wow that was easy". 16 tries ?

1st try Master defender/Master Powers: Key was force management. I never ate a holo either he goes down pretty easy with choke and lightning; weaken. Very Doable Quest wait till you meet CloneSender, wait, oh no, it is called DoomBringer.

i did it pretty easy i fraps it as well so i can upload the video in a few if theres intrest. but synth steak is the key (25fill is a must)

yeah you're right. i read it again, and it looks like you're just providing some more important info. With the general negativity on this board, it's easy to misjudge. My apologies.
