Aight, well I'm considering becoming Jedi, but my main reason is to unlock a 2nd toon on Bloodfin. That's my reason above all others. Now I know some basic things about Jedi, like the xp conversion rate blows for instance. But what I'd like to know, is how long does it take to get to the point to unlock the 2nd character? What are the conversion rates of different xp? And any other advice would be appreciated.

To answer that question would take a coupld of pages worth of posts. Google "star wars alakazam" and go to the first site that comes up. They've got a section there called "how to become a jedi" that lists all the conversion ratios for all the different XP types (and anything else ya wanna know, it's almost sad really).

I am on my third month..... of FS grinding...... heres the numbers for my Template (MBH, MRifle, Pistol 0404)

Every time I grind to cap I have 1200000 Rifle 1200000 Pistol and 900000 Carbine around 30000 combat and 35000 Scout with 30:1 weapon convertion thats 110000 FS EXP then 3:1 on comabat thats 10000 then 10:1 on scout thats 3500 (senses)

TOTAL: 120000 Per Run to the Village

at 1million FS EXP per 4 skills..... that means you need 6 million FS EXP just to become a Paddy... That means you need roughly 50 Trips to the village. Assuming that it takes you 2 hours to cap EXP and 15 minutes to run to the village it will take you.....

112 Hours and 30 Minutes of consecutive Play to make it to Padawan

So is it a HUGE time sink..... Yes

So is it worth it...... thats your call....

At what point can you unlock the 2nd toon? Once you reach paddy?

Oh I forgot about the Time it takes to unlock all the FS...... usaly about 12 weeks to get the skills you want... and another 20 hours of lame quests.

btw they nerfed combat xp, its also 30:1 now, no longer 3:1.

Commandos were getting too much xp with grenades apparently.
