Ill explain why your latest change will COMPLETELY ruin this game. Ppl will leave ad masse, new reqruitment will be low.. and the game will be totally revised again.. if you can afford it.. But.. your large and faithful playerbase will be gone.

1. The combat system you are implementing is a mid 1990's variant. Its not good or new in any way. You dont have the right gaming engine to pull off such a stunt. Neither do you have the engine needed, or the time required, to program the NPC and creature AI in any worthwhile fasion. To me the new change sounds like you have been bought by a cheap theoretical "salesman trix". You will live to regret it. Conclusion: You cant compete with any existing game with your "new" combat system. = Ppl will tire and leave.

2. Game balance. You know very well that about 70% of ALL the players you have had so far in this game has reached for Jedi.. And of those, the most dedicated and hardcore players have made full temp jedis. (And some have paid $$$ for them on ebay as well)

Now you completely WIPE all the effort put into this game the last 3 years.. And you offer a cookie and expect us to jump????

3. Graphics and layout. Do realise that the first movie was made a long time ago. And that basing the new layout on that = ancient and ugly layout.

4. You say you listen to the player base. If so I think you have mistaken whom your playerbase is..

Do you think we will accept being royally ******* AGAIN?

This new change is such a BETRAYAL.. that I stand amazed.. and utterly speechless..

just a fyi... its plea.

but these are good points, i think that if soe looses people off of this though, its due to people just hearing it and saying o forget this. i want to at least try it, and i hope others will do the same. only time will tell...

You forget the total inflexablity of the new system. Once you become a prof BOOM, your stuck unless you delete them. At least other online games (WoW, Guild Wars) allows multiple characters per server so you can try something else out.

I 100% agree with the OP, this will ruin the game without a doubt if they let this proceed
