How many pearls can you have in a lightsaber? I mean, if Itake 10 "good" pearls will that match the quality of a premium one?

You can have 4 Pearls/Crystals in any 4th Genereation Saber and 1 Colour Crystal.
3 in a 3rd gen and a colour crystal
2 in a second gen and a colour crystal.

ok, but if someone goes MLS, crafts a uber Lightsaber and then gives up 2 skill trees, will he still be able to use that Lightsaber?

yep , the lightsabers have a cl level requirement and require padawan (I think its padawan) so as long as your cl doesnt drop when giving up the 2 lines you can use the lightsaber.
This is exactly what I did and can use the lightsabers made as mls even though I'm just something like 0402 now
