I was reading a post about a guy who had a restraining order slapped on him in RL for killing this one jedi in game. I was goign on to page 5 and it said the post was deleted . What are you trying to hide SOE?

Anyone who had any further comments on the RO issue please feel free to continue to post on this forum. This whole thing is ridiculous. the Jedi needs to be banned imo.

I doubt they were trying to hide anything. The restraining order had nothing to do with SOE(just 1 idiotic person in game that cant differentiate between R/L and gameplay), the topic of conversation in the thread was encraoching on the forums rules

Personally I don't believe any of it. Unless I see proof I am assuming it to be completely fabricated.

The thread was likely deleted because it encroached upon RL legal issues, and to protect themselves SOE had to stop and further discussion.
I read the thread in question, and several people were talking about purposely griefing the alleged plaintiff of the alleged lawsuit, which is definitely against the TOS.
SOE took the safe way out and deleted that thread, just like they should delete this one.

They are hiding nothing. It was a player who filed an RO against another player because of in-game events. Nothing SOE is involved with directly, and it probably got deleted because discussion of politics and such doesnt belong on these forums because SOE can be held responsible for any remarks made about judges or any other government employee on these boards. Oh yeah - and because people were starting to organize griefing against the one filing the RO.
Furthermore, posting about deleted threads and continuing the discussion is against the forum rules, also

it's not real, please move on and stop making it sound like it's a big deal.

I also read the post earlier today. If it was true, which it did seem to be, then there had to be more to it than just a bounty hunter killing a Jedi, as restraining orders are not successfully carried out without due reason - even in America.

It just seemed to me that the whole story wasn't be told.
There had to more to it.
