Thread: Select Krayt Pearls dropping?

I don't want to start a dumb rumor, but all of a sudden I'm having ppl asking me if I want to by a "select" krayt pearl. To my knowledge, I don't remember "Selects" ever dropping pre-cu.
Any one have some input for me?

They did drop pre-cu I believe, but I haven't heard of any post.

i'd have to say no unless they looted it from a bugged dragon like the stuff on dantooine. i recently got a select crystal from a janta that was level 198

They did drop pre-cu. They dropped from those high-level npcs from PvP bases on tatooine

Quility - Giants
Select - Dropped off Anciants and Giants Pre-CU wasnt a very common drop tho 
Premium -Anciants
Dont know of any dropping anymore tho...

I just tuned a fair crystal to 108/108 -5FC. Thats the best non-premium I've ever tuned

My luck this week so far sucks. I killed 7 krayts last night without getting a single loot drop of any kind. I went to farm the Corsair POI for crappy crystals and got ganked by 4 Kimos that were camping the place. I did Corsair missions and got no loot (and I was chased away from one of the spawn by two more Kimos!)

I actually took on three GDK while wiping out the the Corsiar POI last night, not very hard with the Carbineer snares and Pistoleer root
