A few weeks ago I was dueling a friend. I went to apply Stasis on him and 5-7 secpmds or so later he was free. Upon him being free, he had a "RAGE" state under his HAM bar. Um.....ok.... I thought to myself. Then I look at the description of "RAGE" and it is a counter to simple states......so stasis is a simple state??? This has happened to me since thenmore times then not and its really annoying as it just started happening one day without any warning "at least to my knowledge".
Why is this happening thus leading the Master Enhancer Statis ability almost useless??????????? I have to know!
It's to stop constant spamming of mezzes. If the rage state wasn't there you could reapply stasis almost constantly.
Well, as a MEnhancer. I'm fine with it.
Calm down and start finding a way to make use of the skill. It's not useless.

Work on your tactics. If it was a 1 vs 1 duel, you have no reason to get him out of Stasis for 40 seconds after you put him in Stasis. If he was free after 5-7 secs, you attacked him. Next time, put him in Stasis, sit down and meditate for 30 seconds, then open up with tactics (Armor Break / KD / Powerhit and such).

Just nevermind gang, my point isnt being reached i guess.
I think you are confused a little. "Rage" isn't something that a player can put up, it's not a skill people have.
"Rage" comes as the result of being Mezzed and such. The Mezz also needs to land for it to come. So basically what happens is you can Stasis somebody fine the first time. Then after that stasis wears off or you break it with an attack, the person now has "Rage." For 30 seconds, they are now immune to Mezzes and such.
It's actually a good system, because being locked out of combat over and over again sucks.
