Force Armor can be formidable against another jedi- combine with force drain, force feedback, and force channel and you can get an enemy jedi basically to kill himself.

Jedi are always saying that Force Armor sucks way to much force. However under the jedi Faq it says force armor 2 costs 150 force and lasts 30 minutes, im sure there is something missing. Can anyone explain how force armor uses force?

When you get hit, it drains force instead of your ham.

How does it translate from dmg to force. If someone hit me for 100 dmg would it drain 100 force?

Although I'm not sure what the percentage is I am almost positive it is not a 1:1 ratio. 100 damage absorbed should not take 100 force.

I love it...

Another Jedi and I took on about 10 players today and I has it on the whole time. I still did not run out of force even while taking heavy hits. FA2 and Syntsteak are my friends against high hitting players.

According to the sticky, Force Armor 2 has a force cost of 150 and lasts 30 minutes. People keep saying that it's verycostly. Am I missing something? Does it cost 150 force every 30 seconds or something?

150 force to activate, then it takes away force for ammount of damage taken.

Damage taken after all defense and force armor * .3 = force cost

so it drains force every hit.

Force armor 1 is * .5 = FC

I have heard rumors on the cost for the use of Force Armor 1 & 2.

Recently a friend said that she did not suffer any force cost use for the use of these powers unless she was effected by a state... ie dizzy or knocked down. Is this true?

Could someone actually give me an idea of what kind of force cost I can expect while using these powers?

Thanks for you time,
