Thread: we need FRS before anymore balancing takes place

so lets say SOE perfectly balances the game, lmao
now they put the FRS in and ruins the balance.
we need FRS now to balance the system around FRS, not balance, put in FRS, and rebalance.

I dont really think so. Lets say they put in the FRS now and totally change something to the point of you not wanting to keep your template, you will then have to drop out of the FRS to change you skills around. Kind of like the upcoming nerf to powers.

They aren't going to balance it period. they don't have the manpower nor the resources to truly blance the game nor are they going to give that kinda of resources to a two year old title. they will do some tweking a lot of nerfing and some proffessions rewrites here in there but balance isn't coming anytime soon.... how do i know because it has never exisgted in this game and the game is going from diversity back towards power templates with each pass/publish. All the FRS system is going to do is end the uncertainty point the template you truly need and get it over with it. i don't mean to sound cynical , well no I do because thats the way I feel. But you know once the FRS system comes back in its going to be a mad rush for MLS/MDEF.

I think they have the skillmods ready for the FRS and how it will improve your template, but the way to advance in levels and stuff. How it all should work hasnt been approved or is still in concept. So I think they are balancing the system around the FRS or trying to thats why we aint so strong as we used to be.

oh but mustafar will ad tons of content... and then when u get bored... *insert next new crappy expansion planet here* will ad tons of content... *rinse and repeat*
btw for the new content you do need to pretty much buy the game again since we don't make enuf money with everyone paying 14.99

the FRS has been turned off for 5 months, i dont think they turn it back on this year

Man I can't wait for the FRS to come back & I hope its still PVP based I'm aster Powers & will still be its already gimpy I I own a lot of jedi with it & wiht the extra nerfs to an already super gimpy master Proff just makes every single victory that much sweeter.
Keep the Powers nerfs comming, don't fix anything in Powers & watch me still own the MLS MDEF & any other FOTM!!! Woot!!! Go SOE!!!

I need an FRS before I'm just bored to death... PvP is fun when you win, depressing when you don't... Quests...I can only run back and forth for so long... and then there's a good old conversation with friends... one thing that never gets old... but do I need swg for that? AIM, YIM, TS anyone?

another reason we need FRS. it used to give huge bonuses to powers, but since 90% of the comunity is now ebayers and respec nubs nobody seems to remember the FRS.

How do you know that the FRS will make that the uber template. A dark jedi with master powers in the old FRS could do tons of dmg at master. Maybe a light sider could get quicker heals so master healer would be better. The FRS is uncertain and you're jumping to conclusions.
