Thread: could we be confused? cloak and the snare

Healing I could possibly deal with, though I don't see why you couldn't heal yourself, but what I am mostly worried about is Channel Force. ATM I use Cloak to channel if I am running low on force in a BH fight, or if I have just finished killing some creature and don't want to worry about getting ganked while my health is at 500. If Channel Force counts as one of the non-combat moves that breaks Cloak, then I guess I would have to resort to cloaking and running to find a house to regen

we could be confused or mistaken its possible, like when we all believed that grinding after the cu would be 6x harder and take 2years to complete (yeah right we all know how that turned out)

THIS IS FOR RANGERS
Stealth & Subterfuge
Stealth skills will facilitate concealed locomotion at a reduced movement rate (IE sneaking). Stealth attempts have a higher chance of failure if the Ranger has not been previously camouflaged. If you have not been previously camouflaged, a camouflage kit is required for being stealthy. The exception to this rule is stealth in an urban setting, which is facilitated by a Holographic Energy Projector. (See above).
During stealth, periodic checks are made that may render the ranger visible. Thus, caution must be exercised when one moves about. For instance, sneaking into a building whilst disguised as a tree (as one is, when camouflaged) would immediately expose the ranger, for example.

*********It sounds to me like the snare is only going to be for rangers when they are trying to sneak up on someone. Kind of like a pick pocket sneaking up on you very slowly. I am still not convinced the devs are going to put a snare on cloak

The way it was worded on the forums is confusing, because it specifies some of the actions that will break stealth, cover, cloak etc. And then at the end of the list it says that a snare will be applied to anyone using stealth. So the question is whether or not that item in the list means that Cloak will also be snared, or not.

I read through the ranger post and imo its not for cloak. The snare is for the ranger sneaking around because you have to be quiet and the root is for camoflauge since if u move a creature can see you. I think Cloak is completley different. That being said I guess we cant put anything past the devs. I hope our Corro gets this cleared up soon. As far as not being able to heal cloaked, I agree with that. And yes I am a cloaker
