Melee/range defence
innate armor
Force Armor

Does anyone know what the order they are hit when mitigation happens. like

You are hit for 800. range defence drops it to 400 then innater drops it by 50% to 200 and then FA drops it by 50% to 100.

lol I know this number are not right just for example.

Ratuke Foloto - Jedi Padawan
MLS, 4040 Def, 3402 Enh, 4000 Healer, 1111 Rebel Pilot

Hammerhead - Ithorian Melee Doc
Master Brawler, 0010 Medic

Defence is applied first. First it determines whether you're hit or not, and then if you're hit it has an impact on how much you're hit for before armor.

As I undertand it, innate armor and force armor are the same thing. It's your total armor rating (innate + force) that is used to compute the damage taken.

I'm not sure when saber block is applied. Before the CU, regular professions hadprimary defences (melee and ranged) and secondary defences (dodge, block, counter-attack). Secondary defences only played a role when primary defences failed. I assume that saber block was and remains a secondary defence, but I'm not positive.

Also, songouki (previous jedi correspondant for those that don't know) posted that the 30% damage mitigation in PVP was being applied in the wrong place. If I remember correctly, I think he said it was being applied after defense instead of being the first damage mitigation to be applied (like pre-CU PVP damage mitigation).
