I have one, but cant use it. I dont know how. I also have the holocron pieces, mysterious orb, dark jedi medallion, jedi robe, bowcaster among others. Gotta figure this out, any help appreciated.

Well, I can tell you right away, nothing special about the bowcaster at all. Wookiee weaponsmiths can make them.
As for the other stuff, mind explaining how you got it? I assume you were in a Dark Jedi hunting group, and got the Orb, robe, and bowcaster that way.

Scratch that, its a force amplification crystal, not activation.

Ok. I'm almost sure that most of the things you get from killing Dark Jedi (like the force amplification crystal) would only be useful to an already FS character. Example, they commonly drop lightsabers, and you must be FS to use.
Not sure about the Holocron or the medallion, though.

pretty sure force amplification crystals might be used for lightsaber making according to what I have read during beta.
