I'm a 'noob jedi' as one might say - I only unlocked this phase. Currently I was aiming for a typical MLS/Mdefender/3000 heals, 0002 enh template. No, I don't want to hear how Mdefender is useless...no, I don't want to be told to pick up force armor.

My question has to do with what a full temp MLS/Mdef jedi told me today. He's been full temp for a while, and has never had a need for channel. I thought it was practically necessary, but he says he regens fast enough for it not to matter. We left a lair to head back to the city, and while we were discussing it - he said that when we left the lair we were at 23% and by the time we were at the city it was already 74%. It wasn't a huge drive, typical lair to city one.

Now, that extra downtime doesn't seem so bad if I can pick up 1500 heals and sap (4040 healer, no enhancer) - What I was wanted was some other opinions on those who have tried temps without channel. Did it work out for you? How frustrating was the downtime? Etc...etc...yeah. So, let's hear it.

Im MLS/MEnhancer and i dont use channel, Pre-CU and before being able to group Channel was a great way to improve downtime, but now its not needed much at all.

in pvp not really. In Pve id say yes if your going to be area attacking or fighting constantly. I like it because i would just hate the downtime.

I am MLS Mdef ench 0002 healer 3000 as you intend to grind... and I dont think you can regenerate force that fast.. When you are in combat for long you will need to regen and that will take time... But there is other options like holocrons to regenerate fp... no enchencer can be considered yes... It's up to you...

Nah, I won't be doing THAT much pve post finishing my temp. And if I do, I'll group with some other jedi, hopefully get some transfers.

So, 4040 healsthe way to go?

right now if i were youI would just get all the novices, and then go up the healing tree. Right now jedi is a mess and templates could be completely turned around in the next few weeks, but healer usually is the same.
