Thread: Improved Aura Or Improved FA

To allthe Jedi that have alot of knowledge on defenses, if you had to pick between Improved FA or Improved Aura, which would you pick and why. Right now I have Improved FA, but thinking about ditching it for Improved Aura. Please let me know what the pro's and cons are between the 2. Any feedback would be greatly apprecaited.

I used to have Iaura, then I picked up IFA, and now I use both.. Never had IFA by itself so dunno...

if you are grinding and dont know which to pick up first get aura otherwise y not get both?

PROS:
Improved Force armor, can be applied and last 30 min, Adds 40 to your innate jedi armor.
Improved Force Aura, Add 500 to defenses, makes them miss more and you also take less dmg.
CONS:
Improved Force Armor, Takes 150fc to apply and 12fc every time you are hit, not to bad in 1 on 1 but will kill your force in PVE with multiple enemies.
Improved Force Aura, Takes 150fc each time applied, which is every 45 secs,
My Opinion: I would still choose Aura over armor, because you can use it in any fight and it stops more dmg and makes you get hit less. But I was 4040 def with FA2 and I was getting hit for less dmg then a m/def in our group, but I was using allot of force.

Thank you very much. I will go with Improved Aura instead and ditch Improved FA.
Your feedback is very appreciated. I was think Aura myself, because it does not use as much force.

yup, mls, powers x4xx, def xx4x, enhancer 24x2 healer 3xxx and was holding my own against mdefs, BUT it was a matter of trying to take them down as fast as possible, timing the knockdowns armor breaks and power attacks was the key to this templete, and cloak for if I get in over my head. (as said, if your pvp'ing if you get more than one on you you're in trouble)
