Thread: Hmmm...this sounds good...but is it?

hm i think master defenders defenses is already good enough so i would not also take force armor with it.
for example youre also missing out on the good speed.

I understand that, but my question is: though the Mdef defenses might be "good enough" most of the time, there are BHs that can beat a Mdef. So, if I were to encounter one of those would I rather be able to simply escape by having FR2 or stay and beat him because of having the additional defenses of force armor w/ my Mdef?
if you want to be able to beat bhs then take 3xxx enhancer so you have the better speed which is important to be still fast while ruptured and you have fr1 to keep up with them all the time.
as bhs will not damage you when youre master def your defense is not an issue. the issue is keeping up with them kiting and doing good damage fast enough.

It is pretty much the FOTM MLS / Def 4040 / Enh 3402 / Heal 4000 with Lightsabers and Defender turned around. In my opinion, the extra defense you get is not as good as the extra lightsaber moves / speed / accuracy you sacrifice to get it.

yeah this is what im trying to say basically.
if you got mdef you dont really need the extra defense. but of course it would make sense to get fa and not go mdef because you already have some defense and choose mls instead.
but both is like too much defense for me. id rather take some points outta defense and put them in offense.

A BH that defeats a MDef is either a very good BH or the jedi sucks. Furthermore as an MDef your innate armor will be 70, which will be more than plenty. Anything above thatwill give you only a mere 2% or 3% dmg reduction. I'd stick with meditate & drainand fr2 & force speed 2.
