Hello all. Yes, I'm not quite a jedi yet due to the fact that my computer died on me 4 months ago... but, thats another matter. i have been playing for about 2 years and have collected many crystals (sadly only 5 in my main server).
My question is this. Whats the diffrence between the Clear (Power so i hear them called) Crystals and Crystals, stat wise after you tune them. In my first server I'd get at least two a day doing Janta/Mok Shaman missions. But not a single pearl. As far as i can tell from reading all the posts on the Pearl drop rate, and stats given i believe that pearls give higher damage and lower FC. But I'd like this to be confirmed, so i know what to start collecting, as I'm finishing My norm Template while finishing FS.

Clear crystals (power) add to the damage value of your saber (along with adjusting the force cost (FC)). The color crystals simply affect the type of elemental damage your saber does. Other than overall condition, there are no stats on color crystals. Stats on clear crystals are 'random' based on quality once tuned.
Pearls (in the pre-cu days) typically had better stats than clear crystal. Post-cu, I haven't compared the two. My saber has pre-cu crystals which are far better than the post-cu pearls I've looted thus far. Maybe I should go out and get some post-cu power crystals for comparison.
