Recently when a BH has hunted me he never showed up on the radar. I have mine set out 512 meters and the last BH i watched both the BH and the radar. The BH never showed up on the radar while he stood there and shot me.

Now i have agreat computer system with 2 gigs mem and the x800 ati video card. i was not expiriencing any lag at the time either.

So is there a trick that some BH use to stay off the radar even when thier cover is blown? or is it that they have a built in perk that allows them to stay hidden from radar when they have a Jedi mission?

Hmm I would think 512m is too much, so the BHs dot may be very very near to your dot and become hardly seen. Could that been possible?

I have my radar set at max 256m. No one seems to generate anyway tillaround 256mso I just have 256m and my overhead map on.

Think it just takes a little time sometimes to update position of folk on map so overhead map is more reliable.

"When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, 'How can we do this and not make another EQ?' We didn't want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we've created a system to make that happen." - Julio Torres

IMO this is the perfect setting. Having the radar set above 256 keeps the dots too close to yours as the size is static. Your overhead will give you plenty of warning, and then you can use the radar to get a name to /tar.

Was he a Rifleman also? If he was then they have /cover, which makes them invisible, including from radar.

Don't know about anybody else, but every now and then I'll run into that very same thing. I'll see somebody sitting on a bike not 10m away from me and not show up on the radar or overhead. If I give it few seconds they'll show up on the overhead, but sometimes they'll never show up on the radar.

I have had this same problem too since last publish. For some reason players sometimes will not show on my radar when they are on a vehicle. Once dismounted they appear. I know this has happened twice as i remember seeinga person cruise by on their barc and freak me out as im pretty aware of my radar and i know very well he wasnt on there. One time this was a fellow jedi and another time this was a bh.

I have this problem all the time i usually just use the oh map instead. If i see someone there, i look at my radar and if i see them there i find out thier name but about 60% of the time i never see then on the radar at all. so i dont trust it at all anymore.

Dont know about you but it would be nice to customise the colours on the radar map, blue sometimes can be tricky to spot. Perhaps a nice orange dot or something more noticeable would be better.

nah, if we ask them to customize radar they will change red dots to white dots cause thats SWG policy.

if we ask them to fix radar they will do so but increase force costs by 13%.
