Thread: Seriously thinking about droping MLS, a few questions for the Master Power.

Hi, i am Master Lightsaber, Master Enhancer & Healer 4040. I would say i have a pretty average saber, not perfect but with the current states of the Pearls drop i find it pretty good (15 2.3 695). Now that said, i am looking more and more at Master Power.


The new template would be : Master Enhancer Master Power & Healer 4040 (or perhaps i'll change this also to 4004). This will be the 3rd time i change template by the way.


Here are the questions. IF you are exactly like the template above, can you keep up with your Force Pool? I believe this is what really worry me. Force Armor already drain a lot in a fight either PvE at average CL's and even more in PvP. I fully understand this template is not meant to go toe to toe against MLS/MDef and in the fray of huge fights, but i like the idea of staying in the back debuffing, lighting up everyone and force choke a bit there and here


I do not like idea of dropping MLS to just dabble in Defender to pick up Force Aura2 and more Jedi Toughness So.. only Master Power is left on my list.


How do you fair against BH with this template? So far BH's are not a problem if i'm prepared and with FA2 up, Statis do wonder in cutting their Heals and with Master Lightsaber even against AB sliced armor i do well. Force Powers bypass armor, am i right?



Well i'm looking for feedback on this odd template if you know anyone that would like to share their opinion

well I dont have this template, but all of the master powers jedi i have seen fighting a BH cut through them pretty well. Choke is the only powers skill that i know bypasses armor, but choke ticking away plus lighting seems to do pretty good damage.

that is exactly the template i am aiming for.


Well, as far as i have read till now, u should be able to deal MBH Mcm easily ( maybe more easily then MLS, as u have sap that most of MLS don't have and u are ranged, so root is not a problem for u; moreover u have cloak,stasis,choke blahblahblah....well u should deal with them with no problem ).


From my experience, you will surely be powerful in mass pve combat, but a spinning MLS will always outdamage u, think about it...


Against other jedi, well....that is completely another problem...and it IS a problem...and it will be even worst when FRS will be active, as i foresee we will be the favourite prey and easiest way to raise in rankingsfor enemy MLS MDef jedi

It is useful just against non jedi

choke is mitigated by force shield and innate jedi armor. it is worthless against mdef. It thicks for about 100 against them,lol

yeah vs someone with no "force defence" and little/no enhancer a powers build is very very deadly


vs someone with either x4x4 enhance or xx4x defender they will hold up well vs your powers - due to force defence in the defender line and the deadly reflect/absorb/shield from enhancer.


its the classic rock paper scissors scenario - there are some temps you be at a huge adv vs - and some youll die very easilly vs

I think you're gonna be missing mls badly but ofcourse if you really want to do it then by all means go for it.

I've noticed already that Statis/Force Sap/Root (and basically all force attacks) miss often against a MDef.


Perhaps i'm going to drop Master Enhancer after all and looking at L0400 H4100 E4404 & Master Power but Statis just too nice i can't drop it!


Does anyoneknow the re-use cooldown of Force Breach?
