Thread: Please Everyone Read This

I am pleading with you all to stop and take a minute or two to read this post. It is clear that many of you are upset and frustrated with the game, and your point has definitely been made. So please do not reply in this thread with anymore negativity.


Do you all remember what it was like when you were a new player? For those of you who made SWG your first online game, do you remember the feeling of loading in for the first time and looking around at everything, amazed at the detail, and so curious to explore? Do you remember that first tell you got? The first person that helped you? The way it felt when you logged in and got a tell or an email from a newly made ingame friend? Do you remember what it felt like when you looted something that you had never seen before? When you looted that item that you found out you could sell for more credits than you could have made doing delivery missions or killing lairs? Do you remember the first time you made it to a novice elite profession box? The feeling you got wondering how long it was going to take to gain all that xp? Do you remember the way it felt to have your first decent set of armor? Your first good weapon? Your first house, your first droid or pet, or even your first swoop? Do you rememberwhen you filled out your template forthe first time.. PvP'd for the first time.. solo'd something difficult for the first time? Do you remember that firstbigplayer event.. that group that you had so much fun in killing NS..the guild that made you laugh and always helped you out?


There are hundreds of people right now that are new players in this game. I know that a lot of them haven't discovered the forums yet, but some have.If you were a "noob" right now, would you want to come here and see this?Would you want the beginning of a lot of great memories to be started with this kind of negativity? What everyone has postedin this forum has been pointless. The Devs already know that a lot of people are frustrated. It's time for everyone to calm down, and remember how they got here. Remember all the great things about SWG andrespect that.Be positive and constructive and you will make a difference.Continueyelling and screamingand you will be shut out. It may not be what you want to hear, but it is the way things work.


If you want to have fun in the game, and you can't do so with combatright now, then why don't you go find a new player and help him/her out. Give them some credits, show them around, immerse yourself back into the feel ofthe game you once knew. Give the devs help by posting suggestions, and by respecting the opinions of others and being constructive, and in time you will have a game thatyou can behappy with.


Again I am going to ask that you do not reply in this thread with negative posts or flames. That is not what this thread is about. If you feel the need to do that, please take it elsewhere.

Maybe the people who cant take this game anymore, should just leave.


I mean, mmo's all have there lifespan. Now let the rest of us keep enjoying it untill its gone.

Which will make combat fast paced and exciting, while balanced.

But they want us to test it first, and provide feedback which they will consider, while at the same time focussing on providing quality patches in the future, and ensuring a constant flow of 2-way communication.

Mate...we've heard it all before and it was BS then and its BS now.

Totally agree ! Jedi are supposed to be leaders, we are the veteran players of the game . Jedi should be promoting positive things for the younglings.


The jedi forum is nothing more than a place to act like a crybaby, so it seems.


Please guys think about what your doing here. You are making fools outta yourselves and the entire jedi community .


Delete your rediculos posts and stop throwing tantroms , my son is 3 years old and isnt half as bad as some of you.


If you cannot find reason to stop posting garbage and making yourself look like a fool, than i think its time for you to move on . cancel your account and go play a new game . Some of us would like to enjoy star wars and support the people who bust their butts daily to make it a better game .

Then maybe they shouldnt of made it so easy to obtain... if it takes time, and paitence not many younglings would be willing to do it... How many jedi pre pub9 did u know who were under the age of 18?

lol...too many whiners that take these fun threads too seriously. you obviously weren't here yesterday or last night or this morning or earlier this afternoon when constructive posts were made....


and ignored by SOE with no response.


hence the trolling fun tonight since SOE didn't deem our concerns worthy of attention during their workday today.
