It seems clear to me now that with every new publish, every turn this game takes, the ulterior motive is to force the Jedi back into hiding.

As it was not orginally part of the game's design and only implemented to up subscriptions of an otherwise lack-luster game, Jedi has gone from being the glue that binded this game together to straight acetone. Amusingly, no one really gives a **edit** about how the new SL buffs are going to affect the GCW (don't laugh...yet) nor PVP. All anyone is concerned about is how this all is affecting Jedi vs. BH. And rightly so. There's nothing else to this game.

Sure there's PVE and quests and you can group and try to take on difficult content, but that's the touchy-feely fun stuff for relaxing and BS'ing. All games are, and always will be, about competition. Who's the best? Who beat who? Who won, who lost? If this game actually had an engaging GCW mechanic in place, far less emphasis would be placed on the arena of Jedi vs. BH as more varied types of players would be occupied with winning the war. Contributing to a cause that matters and has lasting results is rewarding. Which faction logo is displayed on the flags outside the Theed starport is not. There are so few lasting rewards in this game all one can do is make a name for themselves asa PVP'er.

PVP is what it's about for most people. You vs. them. Winner take all. Unfortunately, the dream that was Jedi is gone. The makers of this game have realized their mistake in letting Jedi run wild over the servers and have slowly, deliberately, reduced their effectiveness categorically. Healing? Nope. Tanking? Gone. Damage? Not unless you've been around a while or have money to burn.

I honestly believe they think that for the interim they will make Jedi undesirable and we'll all just go play our alts. Then at some later date, probably 2 or 3 more expansions from now, they'll drop in a token FRS and we might get some reward for our efforts. I don't know about you, but my alts only exist in support of my Jedi. I became a Jedi because I was intrigued at the possibility of working hard toward a goal that once attained, would be rewarding and fun. That's just not possible now. I feel sorry for those working on Jedi right now. Why are you doing it? What do you have to look forward to? The power and mystery of Jedi is gone. Do you really think I'm just going to run around on my doc/pike alt and marvel at heat shimmer all day?

They simply have decided to shut the barn door after the horses are out. Now they're reeling us back in kicking and screaming like the parent of an unruly child and don't even have the courtesy to patronize us with "You'll understand when you're older." We get absolutely no clue as to our future and incredible investment in this class. Honestly, you can re-work an entire buff system completely to our disadvantage but won't deign to pacify us with a fix for our modified speed? Do you have PR people that actually clock in and work? 24 would have been nothing to swallow if you had simply included in your ridiculously misleading patch notes:

  • Fixed issue with modified speed not applying correctly

Hell, we would've taken the other nerfs and lapped them up with a spoon and begged for more. But you don't even see that do you? Such a simple thing and you probably actually view your incompetence on the matter as a convenient way to further relegate Jedi to impotent novel status. Take your bull**edit** company-line game faces off for a second and actually **edit**ing communicate with us. We've all agreed to more dire consequences for our power to be restored: perma-death, skill loss, you drive to my house and kick me in the balls when I lose to a BH. I don't give a **edit**. All I want is for my hard work and dedication since the first week of this game to mean something.
