Hi.
I'm doing the Padawan trials and yesterday I did the "Craft Light Saber" trial, all went well.

So now I have a training light saber with a tuned crystal in it.

So naturaly I want to ignite it, so off goes all my armour, I put on some street clothes and go in search of some lvl 1 critters.

Here goes, "Saber Hit" and the message "Low Force".

**edit**, I dont have a force bar, how was I able to tune a crystal without force?

So my question is, as a Jedi Initiate, when do I gat to light up my new flashlight?

Once you a padawan, you can light up your saber.

That is funny though. I don't remember getting that message about low Force, lol.... but that was many many moons ago now and I can barely remember to take my Metamucil.

Yes you are right. The combat upgrade nerfed you. As initiate I was able to get 4000 jedi exp fighting low level citters. When a mate of me got initiate I wanted him to do the same with me around to teach and he got the same message as you. You can't because even the lower attack uses force and you simply need to bepadawan now to use a saber and to tune a crystal. So sad.

The Great Jedi Nerf is apon us! Its the Devs way of making sure that when you use your saber you can be attacked by the BH. I would suggest you finish the Jedi trials, then wait for the new exspansion and see what the pearls drops are gonna be like. Grinding Jedi now would be something I would not want to do.
